Halloween is very nearly upon, and of course, there's no better way to get into the mood for All Hallows' Eve than by bingeing through some new horror movies.
While 2018 has certainly delivered its share of entertaining horror films - A Quiet Place, Unsane, Upgrade and Halloween to name just a few - there have inevitably been far more risible efforts you absolutely need to steer clear of.
Horror is perhaps the most inconsistent of all the movie genres - in part due to the low budgetary requirements and sheer volume of releases - and in an age where anyone can release their horror film to VOD platforms, there's more tosh to sift through than ever.
But theatrical horror movie fare is meanwhile still as inconsistent as ever, and the majority of these 10 atrocious genre offerings did in fact make it to cinemas.
As Halloween approaches, though, you'd be doing yourself a major disservice to bother with any of these appallingly bad 2018 horror flicks, bad enough that they don't even do much in the so-bad-it's-good department.
