10 Awful Films Arrow Actors Want Us To Forget
7. Stephen Amell - Screamers: The Hunting
In the show, Stephen Amell's known for teen-level broodiness and that ridiculous show of core strength that they tried to get into as many episodes as possible.
Before Arrow, Amell had a role as Guy in a straight-to-DVD sequel to a 1995 science-fiction horror film. The original Screamers, based on the 1953 novelette Second Variety by Philip K. Dick, was a low-budget horror itself that was beloved by fans. The sequel, not so much.
Set years after the first film, we see a group of humans investigating an SOS sent from a planet that was supposedly deserted following the destruction of the self-replicating murder-bots called Screamers. In seven days a storm will ravage the planet and kill any survivors, such as the ones the squad finds living in an old military base on the planet, so the team has a deadline to investigate the SOS and get out quick. Unfortunately, it seems the Screamers were not as destroyed as was assumed, and they've now evolved and can take on human form.
This Terminator rip-off is every bit as cheap and unneeded as it sounds, and an embarrassment to everyone involved.
