4. Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant - Danny Pudi
Where to even begin with this one? This comedy, if you can call it that, went straight to DVD for a reason. It's essentially just a softcore porn movie in disguise but if you really want to know what passes for a plot in this film, well here it is.
Larry Gaye is a promiscuous flight attendant who finds himself cast as the unlikely hero for his fellow employees when they discover that the airline is considering replacing them all with robots. Unfunny hijinks ensue as Larry attempts to convince the airline that humans are better than machines and save everybody’s jobs. Danny Pudi plays Nathan, another flight attendant who acts as the straight man to Gaye’s antics.
Again, this is really just an excuse for a whole host of unfunny sex jokes to be thrown at the audience one after another.
It’s truly baffling how many comedy icons they managed to assemble for this. Stanley Tucci, Henry Winkler, Jason Alexander, Patrick Warburton. Never mind Danny Pudi, it seems that half of everyone who’s ever been nominated for Best Leading Actor in a Comedy Series at the Emmys wants us to forget about this one.
