10 Awful Films Glee Actors Want Us To Forget
1. The Swings Of Things (2020) - Chord Overstreet
In a year like 2020, we were very fortunate to get any films coming to the big screen. But we do have to wonder whether The Swing Of Things was really worth it. The most recent movie on our list, it saw Glee star Chord Overstreet as the leading man in a movie for once, although it's not really an achievement he could write home about.
The storyline is extremely thin - a dream wedding goes wrong as a groom has to change the destination for their ceremony at the last minute due to bad weather. The groom and family end up in a questionable hotel in Jamaica, within a resort that is rife with drug abuse, alcoholism, nudists and....racy dolphins.
The Swing Of Things is just so poorly made, it's not even enjoyable from a bad perspective. The script is abysmal, the characters are shallow and for a movie set in an exotic holiday destination, it's really not that appealing to look at. It's also inexcusable how, for a movie so recent, it casually passes off sexism and racism as "humour". It is not worth anyone's time.
