Just look at the image above - you can already tell exactly what this film will entail. Epic Movie was directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer - the same people who gave us the woeful Disaster Movie and Vampires Suck.

If you're somebody who likes picking out pop culture references, Epic Movie is the one for you. The screenwriters go out of their way to create bad satire on as many 2000s films as possible, with a parody of The Chronicles of Narnia being the driving narrative. The issue lies in how it's the same joke done over and over again, in the most distasteful way. Pair this element of the film up with an ensemble of unlikable characters and a lack of coherent plot, and you've got yourself one of the most painful viewings of all time.

Epic Movie is considered amongst the worst cinematic efforts ever. It's lazily produced, grotesque, crude and entirely unnecessary. (You'll also be more irritated to find out this movie was a huge success at the box office!)
