10 Awful Films Glee Actors Want Us To Forget
4. Legends Of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2013) - Lea Michelle
Just imagine it - getting the opportunity to portray an iconic character like Dorothy Gale, whilst starring in a sequel to one of the greatest movies in American history. Unfortunately for Lea Michelle, she starred in Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, which is undoubtedly the worst film related to the fairytale of The Wizard Of Oz.
This cold, charmless sequel ignored the original 1939 musical. First of all, the Kansas setting is completely modernised, when it should be set no later than the early 20th century. Aunt Em and Uncle Henry appear much younger than they did in the MGM film. And when Dorothy does go back to Oz, the whimsical world lacks the warmth and heart of the live action film because the CGI appears too sluggish and flat.
It's also incredibly insulting how Dorothy's original companions were portrayed. Since receiving their gifts from the Wizard, they've become exaggerated parodies of themselves - Scarecrow is a smug know-it-all, Tinman is a pathetic wimp and Lion is an arrogant show off. It was as if children wrote the script for this animated disaster.
