9. Waiting For The Barbarians - Robert Pattinson
If there's one thing you can say about Robert Pattinson, it's that he's persistent. After making his name in the Twilight movies (alongside his role as Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire), it seemed he'd forever be a handsome heartthrob with no real talent. But, he stuck around and is now one of the most respected and critically acclaimed actors in Hollywood. Although, he hasn't been free from duds.
Waiting for the Barbarians takes place in an isolated frontier outpost and shows as an army colonel arrives and uses brutal methods to interrogate the locals, horrifying the magistrate in charge.
What makes this movie worse is that the performances are pretty strong, and the concept is compelling. Looking at the atrocities of war - especially colonialism - could have been great. But, sadly, nothing comes together as the movie is a jumbled mess of poor pacing, dull dialogue and missed opportunities.
Plus, don't forget Harry Melling, the young actor who took on the role of Dudley Dursley, who brings his utmost skill to this one as... Garrison Solider 4 - wow, maybe that's not one to put on the CV.
