10 Awful Films Harry Potter Actors Want Us To Forget

Everyone knows Ralph Fiennes as a dignified, respected and decorated actor. His roles in Schindler's List, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and, of course, as the villainous Voldemort are but the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his impressive array of performances. This makes it all the more surprising to see him starring in a rom-com alongside Jennifer Lopez.

Maid in Manhattan is a not so subtle romantic comedy that sees a politician (played by Fiennes) fall for a hotel maid after he sees her trying on an expensive dress and mistakes her for a socialite. As you can tell from that description, it's far from being a cinematic masterpiece.

It's safe to say that romance flicks can be very paint-by-numbers, but this one sticks to formula so much that it makes you wonder if it was made by a computer rather than a person with thoughts, creativity and passion. It's blander than plain white toast and does nothing surprising as it follows every predictable trope you'd expect.

Plus, while Fiennes is serviceable at best and uninvested at worst, Lopez is almost unwatchable as her lack of acting skill is tough to sit through, and there's zero chemistry between them.
