10 Awful Films Prison Break Actors Want You To Forget

There are some actors who are so talented, they can play an underwritten character in a bad movie, and still come out smelling like roses.

Case in point: William Fichtner.

Because of his natural charisma, he gives a phenomenal performance, even in duds like Independence Day: Resurgence, Ultraviolet, or The Lone Ranger.

However, Fichtner failed to come out on top in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When he was cast as the Shredder, there was outcry from fans, accusing the screenwriters of whitewashing an iconic Japanese character.

Despite the fact Fichtner already filmed his scenes, the script was rewritten, turning him into the Shredder's lackey. However, it's so blatantly obvious which scenes have been reshot and which lines received ADR, it completely takes you out of the movie.

Of course, this could be somewhat forgiven if Fichtner was entertaining in the role. Sadly, his character is so one-dimensional, not even Fichtner can save it. His evil plan to use the ninja turtles' blood so he can become "stupid rich" is considered one of the dumbest villain motivations in recent memory.
