6. Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers - John Strode

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is one of the weaker entries in the beloved Halloween franchise, with it likely only above the disappointing Halloween V: The Revenge of Michael Myers and the god-awful Halloween: Resurrection when it comes to the naff stakes.

One thing that The Curse of Michael Myers does have going for it, though - well, other than a young Paul Rudd as Tommy Doyle - is seeing creepy prick John Strode (Bradford English) get his comeuppance courtesy of the Shape.

John is the uncle of franchise fave Laurie Strode, and he's also an abusive, aggressive, alcoholic ass.

Knowingly moving his family into the Myers house without revealing to them the horrors that had gone on in said abode, John constantly berates his wife and absolutely hates his daughter Kara (Marianne Hagan) and young grandson - with some Halloween fans speculating he may have sexually assaulted his daughter years prior.

After Donald Pleasence's Sam Loomis rings John's wife Debra (Kim Darby) on Halloween night, she learns of their house's history and makes plans to leave. When John returns to an empty home, he pours a tipple and rants to himself before heading to the basement to fix a power outage.

Here, he's thankfully stabbed by Michael and then pinned to a fuse box and electrocuted to the point his head explodes.
