10 Awful Movies The Flash Actors Want Us To Forget

8. Insurgent + Allegiant - Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West AKA Kid Flash)

Around the 2010s, dystopian YA series were all the rage, inspiring movie studios to adapt book franchises like The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner for the big-screen. So, when Veronica Roth's novel, Divergent, became a smash-hit, it got the movie treatment three years later.

Even though Keiynan Lonsdale's character, Uriah, plays a key role in the overarching plot, he didn't appear until the sequel, Insurgent, much to the annoyance of fans. Because Insurgent was Lonsdale's film debut, you might assume his lack of his experience would count against him. However, Lonsdale is great in the role, despite many elements of his character from the book being toned down or removed entirely.

If you thought the character would be done justice in the follow-up, Allegiant, guess again. Not only is Uriah's heart-wrenching death entirely absent, the character barely appears in the movie.

Sadly, Lonsdale's infrequent appearances are the least of this franchise's problems. Each instalment in the Divergent series was regarded as dull, slow, and derivative. Allegiant made very little money, causing the final entry, Ascendant, to be cancelled, meaning the film series has never officially wrapped up.
