10 Awful Movies Vikings Actors Want Us To Forget

8. Ray Stevenson (Othere) - Punisher: War Zone

Oh, boy. When you look at Ray Stevenson's CV, you want to implore him to fire his agent.

Don't get me wrong. Just because he's been in a bunch of bad films doesn't mean he's a bad actor. In Vikings, Stevenson is fantastic as the cryptic seafarer, Othere. But that doesn't change the fact he's starred in garbage like GI Joe Retaliation, The Three Musketeers, and the Divergent trilogy (that was meant to be a four-parter before the franchise was canned).

But one movie that stands out for all the wrong reasons is Punisher: War Zone, with Stevenson portraying the titular character. Since the previous adaptation of the Marvel anti-hero was disappointing, comic fans were hoping Stevenson would be the first to do Frank Castle justice.

Despite his solid performance (and uncanny semblance to his comic counterpart), War Zone is a misfire. Let down by atrocious accents, over-the-top performances, and generic violence, this has to be one of Marvel's worst movies.

Thankfully, Stevenson got to somewhat redeem himself to the Marvel community with his performance as Volstagg in the Thor trilogy.
