8. Adolf Hitler (Inglourious Basterds)
Adolf Hitler is probably the single most known serial killer in world history. And his infamy has become an outlet for many people to make a lot of money. I mean, just think about it. Witout Hitler, there probably wouldn't be any Call of Duty, or many war games at all. On top of that, think about all of the World War II movies that were inspired because of him, including the one I used as an example in the parentheses up there. Inglorious Basterds is just one example, and one could use Saving Private Ryan, the Band of Brothers Tv series, and Schindler's List as examples of great media that would have never happened if it weren't for this man. I chose Inglorious Basterds as my example though because it was the first movie where I really saw Hitler on the big screen for the first time. Although it was a comedy for the most part, and it gave an inaccurate portrayal of Hitler's death, I really believe that the parts involving him were accurate to his character. They were even shot in German and French to help make the character more believable, and with the help of subtitles, I was able to enjoy the movie very much to the point where it's one of my favorite movies. Hitler is an example of a larger than life killer that only comes once every few generations. The next killer makes you wonder about what exactly is happening in the homes around you...
