If you were a traveler in the 90s, Australia was not the place to go. That is because Ivan Milat was there, and he really loved to find these strangers and torture them. There were even campsites discovered in the area that he had done his killings, suggesting he spent time with his victims before he murdered them, and trust me the murders were gruesome. One victim had been shot in the head several times, one had been stabbed several times, and one was even decapitated. These brutal slayings eventually sparked the idea for the movie Wolf Creek, which is basically the same story, as it's about three backpackers being held captive by a serial killer in the Australian Outback.
