10 Awkward Movie Moments That Must Have Happened Off-Screen

9. Elsa's Birth - Frozen

What kicks off the events of Frozen is when Elsa slips while playing with Anna, accidentally hitting her with a blast of ice magic. Their parents take their daughters to Grand Pabbie and his trolls for help, which ultimately leads to Elsa being locked away and unable to control her powers any longer.

However, technically, the events of the movie began even further back than this, when Elsa's powers were discovered. Based on King Agnarr's conversation with Grand Pabbie, his daughter was born with her powers, rather than cursed.

If the fear Agnarr had of anyone finding out about Elsa's powers is anything to go by (as well as Arendelle's reaction to discovering them), these kinds of abilities weren't exactly common. So, what must have gone on when Elsa was born with them?

As a newborn, she would've had no way of controlling her powers, and yet since Agnarr was so certain she had them from birth, it's likely there was proof of this, potentially as early as her delivery. In all likelihood, this would've been a scene of terror, chaos, and confusion, as the child shot ice beams at unsuspecting midwives and doctors around the room.
