10 Batman Stories That Should Be Adapted Into Animated Films

6. Batman: Prey

Prey Prey was a comic book story arc written by Doug Moench, with art by Paul Gulacy and Terry Austin, that was published in five parts from September 1990 to February 1991. It's set during the early days of Batman's career, while he struggles to earn the trust of the public and form a working relationship with Jim Gordon, who at this point is still only a captain at the GCPD. The story features Hugo Strange as the primary nemesis, who is driven by obsession to uncover the secrets of the Batman, and to become Batman himself. Strange manages to paint Batman as a dangerous madman, which forces Bruce to question his own sanity and motives for wearing the cape and cowl. Stories featuring Batman's early days are wildly interesting, especially when focused on Bruce's own psyche and how the world around him reacts to his vigilantism.
