"So bad they're good" movies are never going to win any awards outside of the Razzies but most film fans can find a place in their heart for the occasional laughably bad movie. You only have to read the title to realise that RoboGeisha is a contender for "terrible film I have to see!" Shot with a picture quality residing somewhere between mid-budget TV drama and straight-to-video movie, RoboGeisha is about as bonkers as cheap and trashy filmmaking gets. Within a few shots it's clear that this is an action film with little regard for plot and an unhealthy passion for exploding asses and sexy robot assassin geishas with an array of rather silly weapons (including a circular saw for a mouth). RoboGeisha might not be the film to turn to if you want to impress someone with your knowledge of obscure Japanese cinema, but if you're looking for something mindlessly entertaining to accompany a crate of beers this is as much fun as anything showing on Syfy.
