10 Best & 10 Worst Horror Movies Of 2015

5. Krampus

RT Rating: 66% It's easy to assume that modern Christmas horror films are to be tolerated and forgotten, but Krampus was something of a breath of fresh air against the annual release of dross. Though you get the sense that there was probably something even better lurking beneath the surface, there are some iconic horror beats that are impossible to resist. Serious.ly, you try not to suspect that your jack in the box isn't going to explode into life and murder you. It all comes together mostly thanks to the excellent cast and an affectionate '80s B-movie spirit, whose charm more than makes up for the lack of brutality or blood. It feels like a distant relative of Gremlins, and you get the feeling that some will be adding it to the festive rotation alongside it.
