4. Red Dawn (2012)
And now we come to a remake nobody asked for, again starring Chris Hemsworth, and shot several years before he became a household name with Thor, but continuously delayed before finally releasing in 2012 to the interest of no-one.
It strains for political relevance by changing the invading insurgents from the original movie's Russians to North Koreans, but with poorly-directed action, a slew of sleepwalking performances and a general lack of interest, this one just didn't even touch the sides.
The only really memorable thing about it is a howlingly terrible scene where Josh Hutcherson breaks into a Subway and orders the "sandwich artist" to fill a bag with bread. Someone paid $65 million for this garbage (and thankfully, audiences didn't show up for it).
