10 Best & 10 Worst Movies Of The Decade (Year-By-Year)
6. 2017's Best - Logan
Anyone who says they predicted that a R-rated, extra-canon, loose adaptation of beloved comic book arc Old Man Logan would be both the least comic book-like and the best ever X-Men movie at the same time is a dirty liar, but here we are.
After James Mangold's The Wolverine was a little bland, he took a lead from the success of Deadpool and took the family filter off, to make an absolutely triumphant mash-up of Western and comic book movie. It's brutal, brilliant and horribly emotionally affecting to the point that you'll leave utterly exhausted.
So perfect is its conclusion for Wolverine that this should have been the end of the X-Men franchise under Fox. Unquestionably.
