The easy prediction to make.

From leaked set photos to vague teases from the creative team, a chunk of the Avengers 4 plot seems to revolve around the original Avengers time traveling through the history of the MCU in an attempt to defeat Thanos. There have been pictures of Cap, Thor, and Iron Man recreating the ending of The Avengers, as well as Tony sporting a very familiar faux-S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform from Loki's attack on the helicarrier in that film.

And while the Avengers could certainly have found a way to utilize time travel, whether that be through some use of the time stone or through the quantum realm's distorted time, the other possibility is that it is something Thanos has done.

In snapping his fingers, Thanos destroyed half the universe and fried the gauntlet in the process. He clearly didn't know the full ramifications of his snap, so he could have very easily fractured the time stream in the process, leaving our heroes to fight their way through the entire MCU timeline in hopes of getting back to a place where they can undo the damage that has been done and reassemble the team.
