Much like A Nasty Piece Of Work, 13 Sins is all about the question of "what would you do for money" and the unofficial subgenre that comes with it.

We follow Elliot Brindle (Mark Webber) as he loses his job and the stability of his life starts to crumble around him. He's getting married, expecting a child, caring for his mentally handicapped brother and just lost his job. Thinks are looking bleak, that is until a mysterious caller offers him money to kill a fly, and then more money to eat it and so on the game goes.

A little bit of The Game, a dash of Indecent Proposal, a touch of Falling Down and a sprinkle of Cheap Thrills, 13 Sins takes influence from a plethora of movies. While some may look at this as a bad thing, it works for the film as it's able to pull from the best and tell an entertaining and anxiety inducing tale.

13 Sins is a fantastic horror thriller that starts slow, but once it gets going oh boy is it going. The challenges that Elliot must meet are unique and will keep you locked in as you try to guess what could possibly top what came before.
