2. Evil Ash - Army of Darkness (1992)
Evil Ash is one of those types of monster that you could argue isn't technically a Zombie. For one he can talk and for two he's described as a Deadite and not a Zombie. However, he's dead, he's escaped from the grave and he has an army of fellow ex-grave dwellers supporting him in his quest to take over the world so whether you like it or not he's made it onto our list. Evil Ash is also the coolest God damned Zombie on our list because he's played by the coolest actor ever to walk the earth - Bruce Campbell. As cool as he is it is extremely unlikely that his character will make an appearance in any of the new Evil Dead spin-offs but that's OK because he's left enough of an impact in the history of cinema so as to never be forgotten. He may not be interested in eating your brain but you better believe us when we tell you that Evil Ash will certainly "Swallow your soul".
