10 Best Ever Movie Bartenders

9. Elvis Costello - Spice World

The Spice Girls haven't aged well. Physically, they have, but their memory and few hit songs from the mid-90s are some of the more embarrassing in an era of music that gave us Kurt Cobain. And their attempt at a Hard Day's Night-like transition into film, where they played themselves, didn't fare well, either.

Spice World was a critical and commercial failure, with Roger Ebert saying the leads are easier to tell apart than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but that's "small consolation. That didn't stop all of English rock, film and even press royalty from showing up for a few seconds to pay respects to "girl power."

Of them, the one that looks most at home is Elvis Costello, who shows up to serve drinks to Richard E. Grant. Considered by numerous fans to be the ideal replacement for John if The Beatles were to re-unite (and George were still alive at the time), Costello has made a few small film appearances, from an amusingly annoying busker in Frasier to a lounge singer in De-Lovely. But he looks perfectly comfortable behind the counter, dressed to the nines and quick with drink delivery.
