The constant time shifts and frankly frightening depiction of what has become of the world in the year 2035 have more of an effect than a movie with such a convoluted plot has any right to, with the final twist rivalling even M. Night Shyamalan's early work. Once again in what seems to be a theme among viral movies, the ending of this one also delivers an unexpectedly bleak outlook.
