10 Best Fully CGI Characters In Sci-Fi Movies

6. General Grievous - Revenge Of The Sith

Sonny I, Robot
Lucasfilm

General Grievous is not a complicated role, he is not three-dimensional, and he isn't even a significant antagonist in Revenge of the Sith. But despite all of that, he is one of the coolest creations from the fantastic world of Star Wars.

Matthew Wood is a major sound designer and voice actor, and the performance that he delivered for this role was enjoyable and filled to the brim with cheesy sci-fi goodness. However, the best aspects of this part come from the utterly compelling design and extraordinary abilities given to this cybernetic yet still biological Kaleeshian.

The sequence that shows him reveal his four arms and collection of sabres to battle against Obi-Wan Kenobi is an unbelievably enjoyable segment of Episode III. While he ends up handily defeated by the Jedi, he shows throughout how tough a fight it is.

Although the prequel films struggled to walk the line between too severe and too goofy, this character is a perfect bridge between the two, as he is utterly threatening, while being a thoroughly silly and over-the-top villain.

Again, this character delivers little outside of his generated design, but what a design it is.
