10 Best Horror Movie Cameos

5. Patrick Ewing And Fabio As Angels - The Exorcist III (1990)

Patrickewingexorcist3 Based on William Peter Blatty's novel Legion, the criminally underrated Exorcist III is the true sequel to the 1973 classic The Exorcist. The biggest complaint one often hears about this movie is that it is extremely talky, opting for cerebral scares instead of gory visceral ones. However, the film's dialogue is it's strongest point It serves to create an incredibly creepy atmospehere, oozing with a sense of dread. The surreal script includes a scene early in the film, in which the protagonist, Lt. Kinderman, wanders through purgatory, passing by recently deceased waiting for judgement. There are angels peppered throughout, comforting those who have died. Among the angels are male model Fabio, and NBA superstar Patrick Ewing, in what has to be the most head scratching cameos of this entire list. Why is a NBA Hall of Famer and a model who is featured on hundreds of romance novels in one of the most terrifying films of the 90s? I'm not sure, but it certainly adds to the bizarre nature of the film. Fun Fact: Samuel L. Jackson has a bit part during the purgatory dream sequence as a blind man, however his one line of dialogue was dubbed by a voice actor.
