10 Best Horror Movie Final Girls NOBODY Talks About

8. Maggie - Severance

While many are instantly turned off by anything involving Danny Dyer, the cheeky wideboy does have some great movies on his CV - namely Human Traffic, The Business, and Severance.

By the time of its release in 2006, some will have skirted over Severance as Dyer and his overplayed shtick were running rampant and often overpowering any movie he was involved in. But for those who checked out Severance, they were in for a treat. Not only was Danny Dyer palatable, the film itself was a fun, bloody comedy-horror that made for a brisk, enjoyable watch.

Dyer's character of Steve successfully navigated the pitfalls of crazed Hungarian war criminals during a work's team building vacation, and he was joined in his survival by Laura Harris' Maggie. While Steve was there to bring the chuckles and some levity to proceedings, it was left to Maggie to often pull off the real heavy lifting, battling her way through a maze of maniacs carrying knives, guns and flamethrowers.

The fact that this duo survive the insane situation they find themselves in, is largely down to the smarts and willpower of Maggie. Well, that and two conveniently-placed escorts carrying shotguns.
