It might be a fallacy to include the Repo Man on this list, as he's technically just a man. Still, as soon as the suit goes on, this seemingly ordinary person turns into an unstoppable, unmerciful and violent entity, making him one of the most terrifying monsters you'll ever see, so he deserves a place.
Repo! The Genetic Opera is an incredibly unique horror flick, as it's not just a violent and chaotic gorefest but also a rock opera. It tells the story of a world where organs are a commodity bought through organised payments, and should you miss one of your instalments, then you better watch out for the Repo Man.
This film's niche premise as a musical likely led to its lack of mainstream appeal, and while that's somewhat understandable, it's a shame as the flick is really entertaining. Plus, the titular villain is a complex, terrifying and exciting monster, thanks to his barbarity and juxtaposed alter ego.
The Repo Man's design is awesome, as he looks like a perfect blend between a serial killer, assassin and medical official, sporting an almost clinical mask alongside his oversized leather trench coat. Additionally, the character has absolutely no issue with tearing you limb from limb and will even sing an epic rock ballad after tearing your heart out.
