10 Best Horror Movie Scenes Where Good Characters Turned Evil
1. Gage Creed - Pet Sematary
It's a trifecta of King! And this one's got a haunted kid in it!
Oh Stephen, you loveable psycho.
The story of Pet Semetary hinges on an enchanted graveyard that brings back anyone buried there, although they are very different upon returning to life. As you would be too - reanimation is a very stressful process.
The film's protagonist Louis Creed first uses the semetary (which is how its spelt in the film) to bring back his daughter's deceased cat. This is all well and good, until his young son Gage gets killed in a hit and run.
Against all common sense, Louis revives Gage too. Gone is the sweet, cuddly child of before, replaced with a toddler-sized monster.
Gage goes on a killing spree, first murdering his own mother with a scalpel before killing the cat again with a shot of morphine. Poor kitty can't catch a break.
Louis is able to subdue his demonic son, but it's far too late. From the moment he came back to life, Gage was pure evil and it was all his grief-stricken father's fault.
Ah well, at least he learned his lesson.
Hang on - he brought his wife back to life as well?
Come on, Louis!
