10 Best Horror Movies Starring Doctor Who Actors

1. The Omen (1976)

Not only is this widely cited as one of the best films of its decade, it's also credited for being one of Hollywood's all time greatest horrors, too. And if you've seen it, you'll know exactly why. This supernatural horror, released in 1976, is particularly notorious for one especially disturbing scene in which a character joyfully hangs herself at a birthday party surrounded by young children. If that wasn't bad enough, there's also a violent decapitation scene (slowed down for extra dramatic effect) which you may/may not be pleased to hear is just as gruesomely graphic as it sounds, if not more so. Seriously. Thankfully, Second Doctor Patrick Troughton is on hand to provide a welcome sense of nostalgia in his reputable role as a Catholic priest called Father Brennan. If you enjoyed The Exorcist, this will be right up your street. You have been warned. What did you think of this list?
