9. Tracy - Killer Klowns From Outer Space

Thankfully, IllFonic and Teravision's recent Killer Klown from Outer Space video game has introduced these heinous harlequins to a wider audience, with that game proving to be a whole lot of fun and receiving plentiful praise since its release this past May.

On that front, one of the game's Klowntalities - essentially a finishing move that kills humans - pulls direct inspiration from one of the 1988 movie's most famous scenes. As it happens, that's also a scene that features a great "dead and they know it" realisation.

Played by Karla Sue Krull, Tracy is a character with an extremely minor role in Killer Klowns from Outer Space, but that role is fondly remembered by fans of this cult Chiodo Brothers classic. Answering her door to Chubby, Tracy isn't particularly flustered by the presence of a giant alien being, but she is a little more impressed by the pizza that Chubby is carrying.

With klowns joining Chubby from either side, the pizza box opens to reveal a Shorty who grins menacingly as he fires up his cotton candy gun while Tracy realises there's no such thing as free pizza and becomes cocooned by the ever-mischievous little fella.
