1. "Take The Professor In The Back" - Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Already at each other's throats prior to boarding the Millennium Falcon, the antagonistic bickering between Han, Leia, Chewie and C3PO reaches a fever pitch due to their close proximity in The Empire Strikes Back. Thankfully, this also leads to some pretty great moments of comedy. One iconic example of this occurs when Han manages to elude the Imperials by entering an asteroid (which turns out to be the throat of a giant space slug). After the gang experiences what feels like a slight tremor, C-3PO pipes up, stating the obvious fact that the asteroid "may not be entirely stable." This proves to be Solo's breaking point, and he angrily commands Chewie to "take the professor in the back and plug him into the hyperdrive!" The miffed droid then responds: "Sometimes I just don't understand human behavior!" This moment again showcases the brilliant characters at the heart of the film, not to mention how Star Wars is not only a great piece of fantasy, but could also be viewed as a great comedy. A devoted fan of all film genres and styles, Adam gets equally giddy over the sensitive, existential musings of Ingmar Bergman, and the brawny brilliance of Arnold Schwartzenegger. He loves fish tacos and misses the work of Heath Ledger and Jack Lemmon on a daily basis.
