It's a huge, game-changing moment not just for the film and Captain America himself, but for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. It immediately had a major effect on the course of Agents of SHIELD, will undoubtedly shape the events of Age of Ultron and will continue to ripple throughout all of Phase 3. You or someone you know probably even whispered "Hail HYDRA" at some point after seeing the movie. Though Sony is taking a break from Spider-Man next year and Fox is introducing audiences to a new spin on the Fantastic Four, Marvel Studios is set to have their biggest year yet in their Cinematic Universe. As 2014 draws to a close, with Agents of SHIELD still running to continue our Marvel fix until the end - hence the "So Far" in the article's title - it's hard not to appreciate the great moments we've gotten along the way. It's also hard not to be excited as a fan to live in a time when Sentinels, gun-toting raccoons and Infinity Stones have transcended from being things we only dreamed about seeing on the big screen to being a part of the public consciousness.
