10 Best Live Action Movie Batsuits

1. Ben Affleck's "Batfleck Suit" - Batman V Superman

As worn by Ben Affleck in "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" (2016), (as well as "Suicide Squad" (2016), "Justice League" (2017), and "Zack Snyder's Justice League" (2021))

Say what you want about the movie (and people generally do), the one thing which most can definitely agree on is that Ben Affleck nailed the roles of Bruce Wayne and Batman. Whilst the actor could have drawn on many an inspiration for his character portrayal, much of his sheer screen presence was to do with how he looked. The actor trained like an athlete for the role, to the point that "Gone Girl" director David Fincher reportedly had to ask him to stop, since Affleck's gains were causing inconsistencies in his appearance across the shoot.

However, the result is that The Batman presented here is a beast, and one that looked like it was taken straight from Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" (which served as inspiration for much of the movie). With the audience's memory still fresh with "The Dark Knight" Trilogy, Zach Snyder had to go in a completely different direction to Nolan's image of Batman. The result? This version of the caped crusader's duds is definitely the most comic accurate in recent times.

The colour scheme is spot on, and the scratches and bullet-holes in the armour suggest he has been through hell in his war on crime. Another departure from the preceding suits is how it has a fabric like texture, and yet the caped crusader still looks like an unstoppable force. Whilst there are slight changes made to it post "BvS," they are rather negligible, as the Batman's look on screen, (like in the comic book) endures.
