5. Black Widow's Past (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
Natasha Romanoff's history is nowhere approaching squeaky-clean. Steve Rogers might be angsty about being a man out of time, Tony Stark's had his enfant terribles period, Bruce Banner has his anger problems all of those pale in comparison to the skeletons in the Black Widow's closet. It's one of the things that should've ensured her a solo film by now (alas), and one of the aspects of the character that makes her one of the most interesting in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It looks like the upcoming Avengers sequel, Age Of Ultron, might touch on Natasha's past; so too did this deleted scene from the second Captain America film, The Winter Soldier, where the traitorous Alexander Pierce mentions not only the aforementioned Budapest, but also other secrets the Widow would probably like to keep that way - "Osaka", and the "Children's War".
