10 Best Marvel Movie Cameos Of All Time

2. Lou Ferrigno (Hulk, The Incredible Hulk & Avengers Assemble)

Due to the limited budget of TV companies, superhero adaptations rarely fared well on the small screen, so it came as a surprise when The Incredible Hulk gained a large audience upon its initial airing back in 1977. The show lasted for 82 episodes over five seasons and after its cancellation, three movies made specifically for TV continued the story up to its conclusion. Bill Bixby played Bruce Banner and became heavily involved behind the scenes, but the breakout star of the show was professional bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno who played Banner's alter-ego, the Hulk. Since the TV program was cancelled, Marvel have attempted two big screen revivals so far, both of which received a mixed response from the public. A highlight of both these films though is cameo appearances from the man who helped make the Hulk a household name, Lou Ferrigno. His first cameo as a security guard in Ang Lee's Hulk is particularly memorable as he and Stan Lee accidentally let outlaw Bruce Banner into the complex they are supposed to be guarding. What earns Ferrigno a spot on this list though is the fact that on top of these two cameos, the actor also plays the voice of the Hulk in both Avengers Assemble and the upcoming sequel Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Due to the Hulk's limited vocabulary, Ferrigno's minimal dialogue can easily be considered as another cameo from the man who first played the character on the small screen. If you thought Hugh Jackman had been playing Wolverine for a long time, think again! Ferrigno has been an integral part of the Hulk's portrayal outside of comics for almost forty years now and the association doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.
