10 Best MCU Endings
6. Ant-Man
Ant-Man has gained a reputation as your straight run of the mill Marvel movie. While Paul Rudd is able to bring more charm to the role of Scott Lang than anyone could hope for, most of the scripts seem to not have any lasting effect on the MCU at large. Some of these might just be setting up other films by the end, but ending with rapid-fire exposition is one of the best final moments we could have hoped for.
Along with taking down Yellow Jacket, Lang had the arduous talk of going toe to toe with Falcon to retrieve a bit of Hank Pym’s tech from the Avengers compound. Everything seemed to be working out for the better back home with his family, but Scott is called back to Michael Pena’s Luis, who just received important intel about Scott’s superhero escapades.
We had gotten used to Luis’ schtick at this point, but the idea of him dropping all of this info on you while trying to not wax poetic about the art exhibit he went to is amazing.
Featuring Pena’s incredible voiceover and the fastest Stan Lee cameo in the MCU, we also get a hint at what’s to come when Falcon is talking with an undercover agent, who mentions a “guy who swings and climbs up walls.” After putting in a good word for Scotty, Luis ends up planting the seed for AntMan becoming an unofficial member of the Avengers roster.
