10 Best MCU Movie Endings (So Far)
2. Avengers: Infinity War
Ever since Thanos was teased during the credits of Avengers Assemble, Infinity War grew to become one of the most anticipated movies in recent memory, and we had to wait six long years before The Mad Titan finally got up off his floating chair.
In all honesty, Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers would have to have been the biggest trolls in the history of the world to end Infinity War without Thanos assembling the stones and snapping his fingers. However, despite everyone having a pretty good idea of what was going to happen, they still managed to produce a simply stunning, surprising finale to the movie.
After the breath-taking battles of both Wakanda and Titan, Thanos snapped, but the movie didn't end there. Instead, we got to experience the horror of seeing our favourite heroes disappear, and they absolutely weren't who we expected.
Nothing could have been more surprising than taking the likes of Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man, the future of the franchise, out of the picture. Never before had a villain been built quite like Thanos, and never before had the villain actually defeated the heroes. As The Mad Titan sat back and watched the sun rise over a grateful universe, the future of the entire franchise was thrown into question, and it couldn't have been done any better.
