10 Best MCU Villains (Who Aren't In The Movies)
1. Wilson Fisk (Daredevil)
Well, who else was it going to be?
D’Onofrio’s take on ol’ Hornhead’s greatest adversary was transcendent. Although all the performances were fantastic, Fisk truly became the protagonist of the season through sheer watchability.
Fisk had the tragic best friend death, had the love story and he got the major character arc, coming to terms with the fact that he was not the saviour he thought he was and instead using his power to protect the one thing that meant anything to him, Vanessa.
Throughout the season, we got a brutal, yet wholly understandable backstory to this man and truly came to root for him, even if he did kind of decapitate a dude with a car door and was generally evil as hell.
Even when he was arrested and put in jail, he managed to become the best part of season 2, becoming the catalyst for one of the best fight scenes on television, the Punisher prison fight scene.
When he then takes the time to dismantle Daredevil’s life in season 3, he still shows a respectability when he gives himself up so his wife would not be harmed.
When a show can make you feel for a true monster like Wilson Fisk, you know you’ve got a truly great villain on your hands.
