10 Best Mid-Credit Movie Scenes

9. Police Story 2

They say artists suffer for their art, and no actor has suffered more than Hong Kong action legend Jackie Chan.

Famed for doing all his own movie stunts, Jackie has survived an injury list that would make an A&E department on a Friday night squirm in horror. Throughout his illustrious high-kicking career he's endured broken fingers, a broken nose, a broken ankle, dislocated shoulder, cheek bone and pelvis, fractured his skull, and damaged his spinal column in several places.

At the end of Police Story 2, we get a montage of outtakes, and these include a range of wince-inducing crazy stunts that did not go well for Jackie and his action co-stars.

Jackie gets firecrackers hurled at his body, one of which hits his eye. A thrown chair collides with his head, causing a bloody mess. Worst is when he's atop a moving bus and he runs into a glass banner display - a stunt that went awry as Jackie had apparently missed his mark and smashed into an actual glass window rather than a prop panel - ouch.

These credit outtakes show just how far Jackie et al are willing to put their bodes on the line to create truly memorable action, and gives us a real appreciation of what stuntmen and women go through as part of their day job.

A sucker for the MCU, Aaron Sorkin's writing, thrillers and action RPGs. Low key in love with Steve Rogers.
