9. Russell Brand Harassed By Paparazzi, Gets Arrested (2010)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyzSOKfpuFM Russell Brand is a lithe, hairy man who has recently shown very strong opinions about the state of Britain's political landscape by instructing the youth not to vote. He came to prominence as a well-spoken yet alcoholic/drug-addled comedian and has been known to use these experiences in his material. More recently he has broken into Hollywood and taken on projects with varying success. What landed him firmly in the spotlight on the world stage was his short-lived relationship with pop superstar Katy Perry. It was during this time that he had his scuffle with the paparazzi. Brand and Perry were getting off a flight at LAX airport when they were mobbed by photographers. The paparazzi goaded and surrounded them, prompting Brand to do what I imagine anyone would do in a similar situation and push them out of the way. What I like about this video is that the photographers seem baffled as to why he's 'in such a bad mood' and having to resort to physically moving them out of his way. The icing on the cake here is that for throwing a few love taps, Brand was taken into custody via citizens' arrest. Sometimes you just can't win.
