Cameron Diaz is up there with Jennifer Aniston in the tabloid media's 'how-can-she-survive-without-a-man' initiative, as sexism apparently sells. The amount of relationships that have simply been made up by the press doesn't bear thinking about. It must take an amazingly thick skin to wade through all the rubbish and Diaz has proven this to be true about her through her continued success. She is well-liked and appears in some solid films, the most recent of which (The Councillor) is a dark thriller written by Cormac McCarthy. Back in 2004 she was in a relationship with Justin Timberlake, and during this time they were known to be viciously defensive of their privacy which of course is like a paparazzi magnet. The more you try to hide, the harder they'll try and on November 30th of that year Diaz decided she'd had enough. As she was being hounded by the paparazzi she decided the best course of action was to remove the source of their power. She did this by simply stealing one of their cameras, which of course was snapped on another camera because these freelance joy-thieves travel in packs.
