10 Best Movie Terrorists

Some might call them 'freedom fighters' instead, but we can all agree on one thing - they're pretty awesome.

What makes a truly great movie terrorist? The passion and ingenuity of their cause? Their vast intelligence and ability to provide witty one liners? The death and destruction they leave in their wake? The combined IQ of their Eastern European henchmen? Or is it their connection to the film's hero or heroine? In movies, terrorists come in a variety of guises. Some are truly monstrous; some you might even finding yourself supporting. For every scenery-chewing, machine gun-wielding, maniacal terrorist willing to let everyone die just to achieve their plan, there is one who is noble and just. Though the use of terror and destruction to achieve those goals makes us question even the greatest of causes. Here at WhatCulture.com we're going to look at some of the biggest, boldest and most ingenious terrorists ever seen on film.
