1. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - Headhunters
One of the great things about Game Of Thrones is the way in which the characters are constantly transforming, with no clear and defined line between the good guys and the bad guys. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's character Jamie Lannister embodies this ambiguity more than most. Coster-Waldau's character in Headhunters, Clas Greve, might bear as many scars as Lannister but the similarities end there - this Norwegian-Swedish thriller offers sees him in the modern world as an ex-Special Forces tracker turned businessman who falls prey to an art thief, using his particular set of skills in an increasingly tense game of cat and mouse.
Headhunters received numerous awards upon its release and Coster-Waldau's energetic performance is a huge part of the enjoyment to be had. Needless to say, a Hollywood remake is in the pipeline - perhaps Coster-Waldau will reprise the same role.
