10 Best Movies & TV Shows Starring Kaley Cuoco

Coming off the back of comparable series like 24 and Lost, Prison Break was at its peak an undisputed hit with both audiences and critics. When an innocent man is sentenced to death row, his brother gets himself incarcerated in an elaborate plot to break both of them out from the inside.

Cuoco appears in season two as Sasha Murray, in the episodes 'The Message' and 'Chicago.' Sasha asks a mentally ill prisoner, Haywire (Silas Weir Mitchell), for some alcohol, and he subsequently shows Sasha the raft he wants to use to sail away. Haywire follows Sasha home and witnesses her father about to beat her, but the prisoner beats her father to death before he has the chance.

While Prison Break is a phenomenal show, Cuoco's role is minor when compared to her more recent exploits. Sasha's purpose is mostly to further Haywire's character arc, although Cuoco manages to excel with the small role that she is given.

After the first four seasons aired, a belated fifth season was produced in 2017. There were also plans for a sixth season, confirmed in 2018, but a year later Fox confirmed that there are no current plans to renew the show.
