10 Best One-Off Characters In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

4. Justin Hammer

Though many fans dislike Iron Man 2, none will deny the awesomeness of Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer. The future Oscar winner plays a different version of Hammer than the comics, portraying more of an "anti-Tony Stark" than the uptight, elderly, English, businessman who had been a thorn in Tony's side for decades of comic book history.

Hammer allows the audience to see Tony Stark from the eyes of someone who hates and resents him. It's easy to see how in another world, Justin Hammer could be the international celebrity weapons dealer. He's eerily similar to Tony, and shows what Tony might be like had he stuck to weapons development rather than superheroics.

After his arrest at the end of the film, Hammer is never seen again in the MCU, barring a quick joke cameo in the short film All Hail the King. Still, we'll never forget his snarky attiude and epic dance moves.
