10 Best Scenes When Evil Movie Characters Turned Good

6. Roy Batty - Blade Runner

Blade Runner's replicant leader Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) is an interesting example, because while you might not ultimately consider him "evil," his quest to extend his own lifespan resulted in him and his gang murdering roughly two-dozen people.

He is, for most of the movie, the antagonist who Deckard (Harrison Ford) must hunt down, though this dynamic shifts completely during their final confrontation.

As Deckard is left dangling from the roof, Batty pulls his pursuer to safety, saving his life. And in his beautiful, iconic final moments as his four-year lifespan comes to an end, Batty reminisces on everything he's seen throughout his short life.

Batty is a fascinatingly complex character, albeit one whose murderous proclivities made his demise inevitable - even if he managed go out committing an heroic deed.
