The Predator is an icon of sci-fi antagonism and it is with good reason this depraved space hunter is held in such high-regard. Between its terrifying dreadlocked countenance and seemingly unlimited arsenal of weapons and gadgets, the Predator is an apparently insurmountable foe.
It spends the majority of the first, fantastic film ripping its way through the best of the best that the US paramilitary have to offer.
Active camouflage, heat-seeking sight and all manner of advanced weaponry assist this behemoth as it hunts down humans for sport and trophies. The predator is an absolute catalogue of powers and gadgetry that humans could only imagine and uses it all for simple sport.
It is this terrifyingly mundane motivation that perhaps makes the Predator so scary, it is simply tearing people apart because it enjoys doing so.
The over-powered beast is a stylish and vicious foe who gives some of earths best a serious run for their money and has marked its place as one of the great science fiction villains of all time.
