9. Death Troopers
If the Mouse offered you a choice between Episode VII and a Zombie Stormtrooper movie, what would you choose? Published in 2009, Death Troopers is one of the only Star Wars horror stories in existence (yes, we remember you too, Galaxy of Fear). Besides a freaking sweet title this book offers a glimpse of Han Solo and Chewbacca before he met Luke Skywalker in the cantina. Stormtrooper zombies? No wonder Solo doesn't believe in the force. It seems that Han was telling the truth when he said, "Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe that there's one all-powerful force controlling everything." Okay, Solo, you win and if you (the reader) like both Star Wars and Zombies then Death Troopers is the book for you.
